We're pleased to affiliate ourselves with Rock and Sea Adventures situated in the tiny Welsh village of Llanallgo on the historic Isle of Angelesey.

Travel to Wales & Ireland

All Rock & Sea tours in North Wales stay at a beautiful 200 year old farmhouse located in the tiny village of Llanallgo on the historic Isle of Anglesey. With just three guest rooms, each with their own shower facilities, these quiet accommodations serve only 6 guests at one time. All meals (cooked breakfast, packed lunch, and full dinner) are included and served in the spacious and comfortable dining room. The facilities also have a drying room and an extensive supply of equipment and boats at the disposal of clients.

A full range of sea kayaking opportunities is available, including beginner and intermediate instruction, but the opportunities are most exciting for experienced paddlers. World famous venues for sea kayaking exist in the lively waters of Anglesey, Snowdonia the North West coast of Scotland and the West coast of Ireland.

Take a look at our Wales photos from Tom's 2004 trip for an idea of what this beautiful area has to offer.

Ever Heard of Lofoten?

Norway's Lofoten Islands are not easy to get to, but they are famous as a paddling destination. The summer also benefits from the long daylight hours this far north. During a six day adventure we will use local outfitters to provide us with boats and logistics, combining day trips with a multi-day trip at the end of the week in order to visit some of the area's best venues.

The Lofoten Islands extend dramatically out into the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Northern Norway. This string of islands was home to the richest seasonal Cod fishing in Norway, and picturesque old fishing villages are nested beneath the steep mountains, at the edge of the crystal clear waters. This is a beautiful spot for sea kayaking, where beautiful fjords and stunning mountain scenery meet.
