ACA Level ?   “Getting comfortable in “The Bump” from Start to Finish

It you haven’t experienced a rough water environment this is the perfect course for you.  Our ACA certified instructor will guide you through the channel around the corner and into the ocean.  Landing on shore you will discuss and practice the following:

* Beach launches and landing (forward and reverse)
* Safety concerns
* Low braces and how having this skill “dialed in” is most beneficial
* Practice bracing as we paddle along the beach front in small waves – gradually increasing the wave size
* practice in some “confused waters”
* what to do if “come out of your boat”  Rescue options
